we have set up our registries through the I Do Foundation, a public nonprofit foundation which, at no extra cost to you, donates a portion of the purchase cost to the charity of our choice.
we’ve chosen to donate to the University of Wisconsin Foundation – Andrew Dorsey Memorial Scholarship Fund, which joel helped establish in 2001 after andy (one of joel’s best friends from high school) passed away due to a brain aneurysm. the scholarship helps offset the cost of tuition for a student pursuing academic interests similar to those that andy pursued (chemistry/german).
